WORTH - Women in Resistance in the 20th Century - is a project funded by the European Union and within the programme Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) designed and implemented by five international partners organisation from Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, Poland and Romania.
The project aims at raising awareness about the historical narrative of people who fought for freedoms during the 20th century, stories that are often untold and unknown: the unheard stories of women in resistance. 
The main aspiration of our international partners through is to restore and empower the value of women who have been at the forefront of various form of resistance during the 20th century in Europe enhancing the transition to the democratic rule.

CERV aims to sustain and develop open, rights-based, democratic, equal and inclusive societies
based on the rule of law. That includes a vibrant and empowered civil society, encouraging
people's democratic, civic and social participation and cultivating the rich diversity of European
society, based on our common values, history and memory.
